Appellation Series
Chardonnay
With delicious fruit intensity, our 2019 Santa Maria Valley Chardonnay opens with beautiful aromas of toasted oak, lemon cream pie, graham cracker and a hint of lime blossom. The palate fills first with bright flavors of fruit, oak, pie crust and toffee, followed by a distinct mineral character and layers of stone and apple fruit on the mid-palate. This wine is an amazing pairing for truffle butter risotto, roasted chicken dishes or buttery lobster.

The second oldest appellation in the United States (second only to Napa Valley), Santa Maria Valley is considered to be the heart and soul of Santa Barbara Wine Country. As one of the coolest climate wine production areas in California, it is renowned for its extraordinary Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, two varietals that thrive in its unique coastal terroir.
